PVA EXPO PRAHA is the largest exhibition center in the Czech Republic. It is located in Letnany and hosts hundreds of events every year. Sports competitions, musical performances, seminars, conferences, expositions, fairs, presentations - such events are held in the complex, whose internal territory is divided into seven separate rooms with an area of ​​35,000 square meters. Big events at PVA EXPO PRAHA

That's what it's called interactive exhibition models made from Lego, held in the Czech Republic every year. In 2017, the exhibition organizers needed 2,000 square meters to place models on this territory, which required a total of 15 million Lego pieces. Fans of this construction set were presented with large models of famous sights of Prague and the Czech Republic: Karlštejn and Lednice castles, the building of the National Museum and its exhibitions, St. Vitus Cathedral. Models of characters from modern popular culture were also exhibited: Harry Potter, Terminator, heroes " Star Wars"and cult comics, Snow White, Edward Scissorhands. Guests could take pictures with their favorite characters, and children received a BRICK REPUBLIC citizen passport and participated in fun games.


MAGNETIC festival. This is a large electronic music festival that takes place twice a year, in spring and winter. It brings together famous and current artists, and during the days of its holding, PVA EXPO PRAHA will be converted into a huge dance floor that can accommodate up to 10,000 people. The dance floor is equipped with modern sound and lighting equipment. For ten hours, electronic musicians different countries participate in a colorful show. For Bikes. Every spring the exhibition center hosts a major bicycle fair, For Bikes. Wine Prague. How to get there

The closest metro station to the PVA EXPO PRAHA exhibition complex is Letňany. The nearby bus stop is called the Letňany Exhibition Complex (Výstaviště Letňany), and can be reached by routes No. 110, 136, 140, 158, 166, 195, 201, 209.

In the park business card is (Кřižíkova fontána), named after František Křížík, the inventor of a type of carbon arc lamp. Such lamps were used to illuminate the 1891 exhibition. The fountain was notable for the fact that the jets of water were illuminated by spotlights with colored glass.

100 years later, in 1991, the fountain was reconstructed for the General Czechoslovak Exhibition. It became the venue for water shows. In the center of the fountain there is a stage on which actors perform excerpts from famous ballets, musicals and operas.

As already mentioned, the exhibition complex was created for the purpose of organizing the anniversary exhibition in 1891. The main exhibition buildings were built for this event - the Industrial Palace, the lapidarium of the National Museum and the Křižíkova fontána (Singing Fountains). In addition, it was necessary to build a number of small associated buildings: a restaurant, businesses catering, and others that house technical and administrative administrations. One word was that the exhibition giant needed to build infrastructure.

Soon the Industrial Palace was supplemented by the Mechanical Engineering Palace on the site of today's Tipsport Arena and, as a cultural dessert, the Maroldovo panorama was built. Every year, the exhibition complex hosts exhibitions and other events of international importance and recognition.

PVA EXPO PRAHA truly has everything you need to organize technically demanding events. In terms of transport, the exhibition center is more than accessible: there are bus stops, the final metro station (line C) and the international Letňany, which receives small aircraft, nearby, and there is also access from the D8 motorway (direction Teplitz, Dresden and Berlin). BRICK REPUBLIC

From April to June inclusive, the exhibition center hosts the fifth annual interactive exhibition of models made from LEGO bricks. This year, the organizers plan to use 2 thousand square meters of workspace, which will house figures from 15 million parts. Lovers of fortresses and castles will appreciate scale models famous Czech landmarks, including: St. Vita, the National Museum with its exhibitions, Lednice and Karlstejn castles. Everyone can take a memorable photo with their favorite characters, which are represented by Harry Potter, the Terminator, Edward Scissorhands, Snow White, characters from Star Wars, Marvel and DC. Little visitors also receive a passport confirming citizenship of the BRICK REPUBLIC country and become participants in exciting games.

MAGNETIC festival

Twice a year (in May and December) a unique festival is held with the participation of the flagships of the world of electronic music. During the festival, the exhibition center turns into a huge dance floor (capacity up to 10 thousand people) with the most modern sound and lighting equipment. In the spring, PVA Expo Praha traditionally hosts one of the largest fairs - For Bikes, which is dedicated to cycling. The Prague Exhibition Center in Holešovice is used for many trade fairs and exhibitions, as well as for many cultural, social and sporting events in Prague. One of the most famous events is the St. Matthew's Fair (known in the Czech Republic as the Matejska Fair), which takes place in the spring and offers a wide range of entertainment for both children and adults.

The Prague Exhibition Center was built in the eastern part of Stromovka on the occasion of the Jubilee Exhibition in 1891. The center acquired its current form in 1952-53, today its total area is 40 hectares.

The Industrial Palace was the central building of the Anniversary Exhibition. It still remains the main venue for many trade fairs and exhibitions. The palace consists of a central part with a 51-meter-high chapel, to which two more wings adjoin. The industrial palace was built in 1891 in the Art Nouveau (modern) style. Four modern multi-functional Krizik pavilions surround the Krizik Fountain, known as the venue for many classical music concerts and light shows. Total area of the Krizik pavilions is 5,488 m².

The former Prague City Pavilion near the entrance to the Prague Exhibition Center is now used as the Lapidarium of the National Museum, which displays a huge collection of stone sculptures, most made in Prague from the 11th to the 19th centuries (exclusively the early 20th century). The best 400 of the 2000 sculptures are exhibited here (which can no longer withstand the pollution of modern air), but the rest are safe. The neo-Renaissance building opposite the Lapidarium belongs to the Academy of Fine Sciences in Prague.

The pyramid at the bottom of the Prague Exhibition Center usually serves as a pavilion for many exhibitions as well as theatrical performances. The height of the building is 40 m.

Thanks to the Marold panoramic painting placed in this round building, the Marold panorama allows you to see very important event history of the Czech Republic - the Battle of Lipany, in which on May 30, 1434, the citizens of Prague, together with royal troops and a small group of Hussites, defeated the radical Taborites, who demanded “to take everything and divide it.”

The T-shaped arena is a large multi-purpose building that can easily be adapted for a variety of events such as hockey matches, music concerts, exhibitions, fashion shows and much more.
