Ems from China terms. EMS delivery from China to Russia

In this article we will talk about ordering smartphones, tablets, and basically anything from China. Why from China, and not, for example, from United Arab Emirates? It's very simple. The fact is that the main flow of imports to Russia comes from China, so customs officers pay more attention to this direction. Next, I confess honestly: I adjusted the article to the theme of our site, because... the example described below will be considered for the delivery of another product, but this is not significant - the main thing is to understand how EMS Russian Post express delivery works and draw your own conclusions.

History of non-delivery of parcels for 252 days

In addition to this site, we have another project, for which an order for clothing accessories was placed from one Chinese factory for $778, of which services transport company EMS cost us about half that figure. The weight of the parcel is approximately 9.5 kilograms.

By Russian laws, EMS shipment from abroad is not subject to customs clearance if its weight less than 31 kg per month, and the cost is up to 1,000 euros. This information (we are talking about EMS Mail from China) has been repeatedly confirmed by the operators of EMS itself.

So, the order was paid for by transfer cash to the seller's account and arrived at the EMS China dispatch point February 1, 2013.

This is where our happiness ended, because over the past since that moment 252 days We never saw our order. But they got a lot of problems on their own and for quite a lot of money.

The photo shows the full path of the parcel as of the current date from the EMS website:

At that time we lived in a dacha in the Zaraisky district of the Moscow region. The parcel was supposed to be delivered to us there. But instead, in mid-February the shipment received the status “Left the place of international exchange” and disappeared without a trace. Multiple calls to hotline EMS was only given information that the parcel was subject to a customs notification and we must wait for it to be received in the mailbox, and then go to the customs post indicated in it.

We were unable to receive any other information from EMS Russian Post until the 20th of March! As well as notifications in your inbox. The girls from the EMS support service are not able to give you any other information other than what you yourself see on their website. Moreover, their memorized robot voice can drive anyone crazy. The fact that all conceivable and inconceivable terms for “express” delivery have passed does not concern anyone but you. They also don’t know where the parcel is located - at which customs office. As a result, we, following the incompetent advice we received from them, went to the EMS customs clearance point in Moscow (135 km from the Zaraisky district), then visited the EMS postal delivery point at Vernadsky Avenue, 18, but nothing but a scandal with their aggressive employees didn't receive it. Nobody knows anything. The parcel has disappeared. We could only wait.

Next, after analyzing the delivery routes for other items to the same address in the Zaraisk region, we went to the EMS post office in Zaraysk, where we were kindly told (thanks to the responsive employees of the Zaraysk Post! In the Moscow region people are really kinder and more responsive than Muscovites) that all EMS- Parcels to the Zaraisky district go through Kolomna, the customs point is also located there. They gave me a phone number. From it we found out where our parcel, which landed from China at EMS MMPO Sheremetyevo, has been collecting dust for the second month now, and no one knows why the notification takes so long. This is how our Russian Post works.

The next step, we were forced to go to Kolomna on two intercity buses and look for the coveted post office. Found. And they even saw their paid parcel. Only they didn’t give it to us. They only pointed at the customs notification, according to which the recipient first needs to go to the customs point at the other end of Kolomna and clear the cargo through customs. But at this EMS customs point at 16 o’clock in the afternoon we were only waiting for the answer that “there is no one today.”

I had to go the same way on two intercity buses and one inside the city a second time. The meeting with the customs officers provided simply amazing information in the style of “what country do we live in?” A parcel with an invoice for approximately $160 (the Chinese put such an invoice) we must clear customs for at least $ 1 000 . Moreover, for this you still need to collect an unrealistic pile of papers, provide an agreement with the Chinese seller, pay the state fee; enter into an agreement with a customs agent and rent part of a warehouse from them to store our cargo. And customs clearance itself, according to Russian laws, will cost us... 30% of the parcel cost!

Of course, no normal person would agree to such conditions. And in the case of commercial cargo, the conclusion arises that it is simply unrealistic to import goods into Russia officially, because with such a cost of customs clearance, your goods will then have to be sold at a price for which no one will buy it. Not forgetting the great word “competition”. The EMS customs officers themselves understand this, and they kindly advised us to return to the post office and write a refusal letter, after which she is without additional payments will return back to China to the sender. That's what we did. The refusal was written on March 20, 2013, and only then, a few days later, the coveted mail notification was received. Why is it that a package that met the requirements of EMS customs did not go through it at all - we never found out. Apparently, customs officers can do whatever they want depending on their mood.

According to a postal employee in Kolomna, the shipment was supposed to be sent back no later than tomorrow.

After 5 days, the parcel seemed to really begin some kind of movement and on March 25 it arrived at the Moscow ASC EMS Logistics workshop. All. Then the load disappeared again. The next information about him appeared only on August 13, 2013. The shipment again ended up in Kolomna, its status: “Shelf life has expired.” Then the parcel arrived in Moscow again. And so on in a closed trajectory.

Of course, calls to EMS support again did not provide any information. Your problems are for your money. We also contacted Chinese store, asked their EMS agent to solve the problem, because... We paid them money, and they demanded it. However, an answer was received from China: the parcel is in Moscow, we cannot do anything, go and receive it yourself.

The next lull lasted from August 15 to September 20, after which the cargo was finally sorted in Moscow and (oh, miracle!) moved towards China. 4 days later, on September 24, it finally arrived in China, although not in the city from which it was sent, and we learned about the “unsuccessful attempt to deliver it to the addressee.” This information was given to us by a third-party parcel tracking service myparcels.ru; on the EMS website the message China CNBJSD is only proudly displayed. Then on October 9 the parcel was allegedly delivered to the addressee:

But the Chinese have not yet received their return trip. We will torture them further. As a result, 252 days is not the end. But we would still like to receive the order, right? And without overpayments, because the money has already been paid. Curtain.

Afterword

If you are still willing to take a risk and order a phone, tablet computer or inflatable doll from China via EMS, that is your right. However, keep a few other points in mind:

Moment 1. It is impossible to find delivery times on the EMS website. You can check them with the operator by calling 8 800 200 50 55, but this is useless - EMS, as a rule, does not even closely adhere to its deadlines.

Moment 2. If problems arise (delay, missing shipment or imposition of a customs notification), no one at EMS will help you or provide you with any information. You will be left alone with your problems and can only wait.

Moment 3. You can and should write to the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications with complaints (we wrote about delays in other EMS shipments in Russia), but in response they will only send you a dry reply with a quote from the laws, where you will find out what needs to be done, what compensation EMS should pay you (for the delay deadlines - up to 100% to the sender... but after delivery!) and that you have the right to go to court. There will be no real help in resolving the situation.

Moment 4. It is also possible and necessary to write a statement to EMS about searching for shipments, but EMS is not just a mess, everything there is thought out and organized, because this mess promises a lot of money for someone. Your application for searching for a parcel will go down the drain, and a response will only come after the status of the parcel has been updated. Perhaps only in six months. When the shipment is found, then they will write to you. According to the principle: “your package is there, we found it and we kindly inform you. Thank you for using the EMS services of Russian Post."

Moment 5. EMS Russian Post couriers in the vast majority of cases do not call the recipient before the visit. You have to forget about work, household chores and, by tracking the status of your parcel on the EMC website, guess the approximate time of arrival of the courier yourself while sitting at home. You are also unlikely to recognize it from the EMS operator. IN best case scenario, the courier will call when he arrives or when no one opens the door for him. Then the parcel will receive the status “Unsuccessful delivery attempt”. Next - either wait for a second attempt, or go to Vernadsky yourself. As it turns out.

I could go on for a long time, but it's time to end. I would just like to recall two more personal cases from about a year ago, when we acted as EMS senders in Russia (then we also wrote to the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications, by the way). A lot of money was paid for express delivery, but instead of the approximately 3-5 working days stated by the operator, both parcels reached the addressee by 22-24 days! To Norilsk and Nizhnevartovsk. After listening to repeated complaints from recipients, we went through all the troubles, searching on the Internet and barely getting through to postal offices in these regions of Russia (as a rule, no one picks up the phone there). It was then that we first learned how EMS Russian Post works and what they are real terms delivery and service.

Finally, a couple of photos of EMS parcel warehouses for a better idea of what awaits your shipment, how easy it is to lose it and how difficult it is to find it:

China EMS specializes in domestic and international express mail and is the largest logistics provider with a presence in 31 provinces in China. An important feature of the company is that it guarantees reliable and fast delivery goods by courier services. To track epacket, it is enough to know the international track number, consisting of a combination of letters and numbers. You can find it on your order page on the store’s website or by asking the seller. Most often, after paying for the order, a message with a track number is sent to email. EMS China allows you to track up to 20 parcels simultaneously, and the company has developed convenient way notifications - information about all changes in the location of the parcel is sent by email or SMS message. This allows you to significantly save time and eliminate the need to frequently visit the site. Service you can trust

The processing and delivery of parcels is handled by a division of the international company EMS. It has been operating in China for almost 30 years, gaining experience and constantly improving its service; today the company has more than 16 million employees. As a rule, the parcel is delivered by courier to the address. Regular clients Online stores usually prefer this delivery method, since the overpayment for ePacket is minimal, but you can be sure that the package will not get lost in transit, will not be damaged, and will be delivered on time. Delivery delays may occur due to problems at customs, but thanks to the parcel tracking service, the buyer will be warned about this. Using ePacket when ordering goods from Chinese online stores guarantees quality tracking and maximum speed delivery.

Buyers still ask questions - what is ePacket? Until the end of 2013, ePacket was used primarily for parcel delivery within the United States. But with the increasing volume of parcels from China, Aliexpress sellers began to develop third-party postal services, such as, and even.

And yet, even these capacities were not enough to quickly deliver parcels from China. So, in order to develop the Asian market, at the beginning of 2014, ePacket organized a new line for parcel delivery and began to work closely with and.

Track numbers and tracking EMS China

Examples of departure numbers:

  • EA---CN (EA123456785CN) – postal EMS shipment China
  • LM---CN (LM123456785CN) – ePacket postal item

How to track an ePacket EMS China parcel

The delivery speed of ePacket is comparable to the delivery speed of EMS China and ePacket parcels are tracked on the EMS China website. The site is in Chinese, but it is possible to switch to an English interface if you click “ENGLISH” in the upper right corner.

In the "Shipment Number" field you need to enter your ePacket number, and in the adjacent "Verificatior" field the numbers that will appear when you click on it:

The information will show the movement of the shipment with dates, statuses and location.

A significant drawback of tracking on the China EMS website is the difficulty of translating the displayed statuses. Therefore, it is much more convenient to use a clear and simple

To track your parcel you need to take a few simple steps.
1. Go to the main page
2. Enter the track code in the field with the heading "Track postal item"
3. Click on the "Track parcel" button located to the right of the field.
4. After a few seconds, the tracking result will be displayed.
5. Study the result, and especially carefully the latest status.
6. Forecasted delivery period is displayed in the track code information.

Try it, it's not difficult ;)

If you do not understand the movements between postal companies, click on the link with the text “Group by company”, which is located under the tracking statuses.

If there are any difficulties with the statuses on English, click on the link with the text “Translate into Russian”, which is located under the tracking statuses.

Carefully read the "Track Code Information" block, there you will find estimated delivery times and other useful information.

If, when tracking, a block is displayed in a red frame with the heading “Pay Attention!”, carefully read everything that is written in it.

In these information blocks you will find 90% of the answers to all your questions.

If in the block "Pay Attention!" it is written that the track code is not tracked in the destination country, in this case, tracking the parcel becomes impossible after the parcel is sent to the destination country / after arriving at the Moscow Distribution Center / Item Arrived at Pulkovo / Arrived in Pulkovo / Left Luxembourg / Left Helsinki / Sending to the Russian Federation or after a long pause of 1 - 2 weeks, it is impossible to track the location of the parcel. No, and nowhere. Not at all =)
In this case, you need to wait for a notification from your post office.

To calculate delivery times in Russia (for example, after export, from Moscow to your city), use the "Delivery Time Calculator"

If the seller promised that the parcel would arrive in two weeks, but the parcel takes more than two weeks, this is normal, the sellers are interested in sales, and that’s why they are misleading.

If less than 7 - 14 days have passed since the receipt of the track code, and the parcel is not tracked, or the seller claims that he sent the parcel, and the status of the parcel “the item pre-advised” / “Email notification received” does not change for several days, this is normal, You can read more by following the link: .

If the status of the mail item does not change for 7 - 20 days, do not worry, this is normal for international mail items.

If your previous orders arrived in 2-3 weeks, and the new parcel takes more than a month, this is normal, because... parcels go on different routes, in different ways, they can wait 1 day for shipment by plane, or maybe a week.

If the parcel has left the sorting center, customs, intermediate point and there are no new statuses within 7 - 20 days, don’t worry, the package is not a courier who brings the package from one city to your home. In order for it to appear new status, the package must arrive, unload, scan, etc. at the next sorting point or post office, and this takes much more time than just getting from one city to another.

If you do not understand the meaning of such statuses as Reception / Export / Import / Arrived at the place of delivery, etc., you can see a breakdown of the main statuses of international mail:

If the parcel is not delivered to your post office 5 days before the end of the protection period, you have the right to open a dispute.

If, based on the above, you do not understand anything, read these instructions again, and again, until you are completely clear;)

When making a purchase, the question immediately arises about the timing of delivery of goods from China to Russia. Quite a lot of factors play into the delivery time of parcels from China.

Factors affecting delivery speed

Factors that influence the speed of delivery of parcels from China include:

  • delivery method - the parcel was sent by regular mail or express delivery;
  • the delivery operator - the state postal service or a private company (express carrier) will deliver the parcel. As a rule, the delivery time of private express carriers is 3-5 times lower than that of regular postal services;
  • national characteristics of the work of postal operators in different countries Oh;
  • the distance between the settlements where the sender and recipient live;
  • time of year, the effects of disasters or weather conditions. For example, the number of shipments increases during seasonal sales, New Year and Christmas holidays. As a result, postal operators in different countries do not have time to process them on time, which leads to delays in parcels on the road.

Periods when postal delays may occur

Every mail delivery service has periods of recessions and sharp surges in the number of items when it simply functions at its limit. own capabilities. China is no exception. Let's take a closer look at periods when delivery times from China may simply be delayed due to the huge number of shipments.

Peak periods for China postal services:

  • China's national holidays , of which there are 18. Everyone celebrates them, so during this period no one works in the country. To avoid getting into trouble, you need to know the dates of all national holidays in China, and try not to send parcels during these periods;
  • The eve of the European New Year and Christmas holidays almost always means that delivery times from China are significantly increasing. As a rule, delays begin from the end of November - beginning of December and end only by the end of January. In this regard, the delivery time for parcels from China may be 2 - 3 months;
  • Chinese New Year according to the lunar calendar means unstable operation of China Post. After all, at this time the New Year holidays begin in the country, which will last 2 - 3 weeks. Therefore, February turns out to be practically non-working;
  • congresses of the Chinese Communist Party practically paralyze the work of China Post these days. On the eve of the congresses, enormous security measures are being taken, when all postal items are monitored with particular seriousness, and postal restrictions are applied separate groups goods (for example, devices that contain lithium batteries). Therefore, the delivery time for parcels may increase significantly.

Delivery times for parcels from China via China Post

IN lately Interest in goods from China has increased significantly. In this regard, the activity of Chinese online stores in China has increased significantly. According to experts China Post, the volume of postal items abroad increases annually by 20-25%.

Almost 90% of shipments through China Post are free shipping. These are unregistered shipments and do not have tracking numbers. Therefore, the load increases significantly not only on postal service China, but also to Russian postal services.

It is worth noting that China Post has the same problems as Russian Post. The postal department's infrastructure turned out to be unprepared for the growth in postal export volumes. Not enough sorting centers and transportation containers for transportation to other countries using air transport. There are more and more cases when shipments with export status are at the airport in a sealed mail container for several days, waiting in line for shipment.

All this significantly affects delivery times from China via China Post, significantly increasing them. And if just a year ago parcels and small shipments from China to Russia were delivered within a month, now China Post delivery times have increased significantly. According to statistics, the delivery time of cargo from China to Russia is 55 - 60 days, and sometimes it can exceed this period. And the main reason for the delay is the loading of China Post and Russian Post.

Delivery time for parcels from China via DHL and EMS

You can reduce the delivery time for parcels from China if you use foreign postal delivery services. For example, DHL and EMS services. Of course, you will have to pay more for faster delivery.

DHL

Deliver a parcel from China to Russia to short term possible using courier service DHL. This is a fairly reliable company from Germany, which is famous for its short delivery times. And the DHL delivery time from China will be no more than 10 working days.

EMS

If you use EMS, the delivery time for your parcel from China will be 10 - 25 days. And this is several times less than delivery through the state postal service. A huge plus of this service is that the package is delivered directly to the recipient, i.e. Delivery is carried out to the specified address.

Delivery times for goods from Aliexpress

If we consider the Aliexpress online store, the delivery time for goods will directly depend on the postal service through which it is sent. Parcel sent via China Post can take from 1 to 3 months. But parcels sent via EMS or DHL with goods purchased on Aliexpress will have much shorter delivery times. Therefore, anyone who wants to receive the goods as quickly as possible should select the delivery service of interest on the website. However, be prepared to pay a premium for this.

Let's take a closer look at delivery times in the summer:

  • Singapore Post- 2 - 3 weeks;
  • free shipping - 2 - 3 weeks;
  • express delivery - 1.5 - 2 weeks.

During winter:

  • Singapore Post- 4 weeks;
  • free shipping - 3 - 5 weeks;
  • express delivery - 2 - 4 weeks.

Why are parcels from China delayed?

  1. Although the buyer receives a track number reserved by mail immediately after payment, the seller can actually send it only a few weeks later. Therefore, if 10 - 14 days after paying for the order, the parcel number from China is not displayed anywhere, you can safely present all your claims to the seller and demand a refund of your money.
  2. The postal item can be located at the border between Chinese customs and the Russian airmail warehouse, which is located in the Middle Kingdom for up to 50 - 60 days.
  3. It is no less likely that after the flight the parcel will remain at the customs of our country for a long time.
  4. Delays of postal items in various sorting shops of the Russian Post in different cities cannot be ruled out.
  5. It is quite possible that the parcel will lie for several weeks in the post office of your city, waiting for the arrival of the addressee, who was not informed about it. Therefore, having tracked your parcel from China and seen a mark of arrival at the place of delivery, you can safely go to your post office and demand the delivery of the long-awaited parcel.
