Dassault Systemes and ASE Group sign a cooperation agreement aimed at supporting innovation in large infrastructure projects. Dassault Systemes and ASE Group sign a cooperation agreement

Representatives of the ASE Group of Companies (Engineering Division of the State Corporation Rosatom) took part in the III International Conference on Sustainable Urban Development, which was held in the Digital Business Space in Moscow on May 18, 2018.

As part of the panel discussion “Smart Cities in the Age of Digital Economy,” Deputy Director for System Engineering and IT of JSC ASE EC Sergey Kuchin presented to the professional community a new digital development of the ASE Group of Companies - the MULTI-D City platform project. “We are creating a platform that is a comprehensive system for managing the infrastructure of a city/region, which allows us to increase the efficiency of the design, construction and operation of urban and engineering infrastructure and the efficiency of any city services without increasing the level of running costs", he said.

According to S. Kuchin, Rosatom is implementing this project together with Rostelecom, the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation and a number of other participants in the Smart City consortium, on behalf of which an application for participation in the federal program “Digital Economy” was submitted Russian Federation" Sergey Kuchin also spoke in detail about the experience of cooperation between the ASE Group of Companies and the government Nizhny Novgorod region on the implementation of the modern digital urban planning platform MULTI-D City in Nizhny Novgorod and in one of Rosatom's closed administrative towns - Sarov. From 2022, MULTI-D City will be offered for implementation in cities of the Nizhny Novgorod region with a population of more than 100 thousand people. In addition, joint work has been launched in the Nizhny Novgorod region to implement two more ASE digital products: a digital product catalog industrial enterprises(MULTI-D Market project) and a project to create an eco-environment for the development of IT companies and startups (iCluster project).

Session moderator, director of international development and acceleration of the Skolkovo Foundation, Maxim Zharenov drew the attention of those present to the fact that the trend towards deep penetration of digitalization into the urban environment and urban infrastructure management processes opens up great prospects for companies working in this direction. According to him, analysts from the world's leading consulting firms predict that if the smart city market worldwide was valued at more than $420 billion in 2017, by 2020 its volume will almost triple and exceed $1.5 trillion.

The International Conference on Sustainable Urban Development is a traditional platform for meetings of the world's leading experts, scientists, as well as government leaders to exchange experiences in changing urban spaces, developing green technologies and introducing innovations. The conference in Moscow was organized by Global Innovation Labs (USA), Ural Federal University named after B.N. Yeltsin, Institute of Economics of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan with the support of the Moscow Innovation Agency.

The ASE group of companies was created as part of the formation of the engineering division of the Rosatom State Corporation by merging the leading companies in the industry: JSC ASE EC, JSC Atomstroyexport, JSC Atomenergoproekt and JSC ATOMPROEKT. The ASE group of companies is one of the leaders in the global nuclear engineering business, occupying 31% of the global nuclear power plant construction market. Representative offices, branches and operational offices operate in 15 countries. Almost 80% of the order portfolio is for projects abroad. Implements projects for the design and construction of nuclear power plants high power, radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel management facilities, thermal power engineering facilities, and also provides a full range of EPC, EPC(M) and PMC services for any complex engineering facilities.

Multi-D is an innovative project management system for the construction of complex engineering facilities, which is being developed by the ASE Group of Companies. It allows you to more effectively manage parameters such as budget, deadlines, and quality.

Joint Stock Company "Atomstroyexport" (JSC ASE) is a foreign economic engineering company of the State Corporation "Rosatom" for the construction of facilities nuclear power abroad.

The ASE group of companies was created as part of the formation of the engineering division of the Rosatom State Corporation by merging four leading companies in the industry: NIAEP JSC, ASE JSC, Atomenergoproekt JSC, Atomproekt JSC. The ASE group of companies is one of the participants in the global nuclear engineering business, occupying more than 30% of the global nuclear power plant construction market. Representative offices and operational offices of the ASE Group of Companies operate in 15 countries, and almost 80% of the company’s order portfolio is for projects abroad.

In addition, ASE implements projects for the construction of facilities for the management of radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel, thermal power facilities, and also provides a full range of EPC, EPC(M) and PMC services for any complex engineering facilities. The ASE group of companies is a developer and is actively implementing an innovative project management system for the construction of complex engineering facilities - Multi-D, which allows more efficient management of parameters such as budget, deadlines, and quality. The ASE Group of Companies is headed by Doctor of Economics Valery Igorevich Limarenko.

2017: Competence center for automation of engineering activities

On June 19, 2017, the ASE Group of Companies and SAP CIS signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of management life cycle nuclear power facilities.

According to the document, the ASE Group of Companies, in partnership with SAP, will create a Competence Center for automation of engineering activities. The main goal of the future Center will be the introduction of technologies such as asset life cycle management, machine learning, and analytics into the process of capital construction of nuclear power plants and other nuclear energy facilities.

All these technologies are united by the concept of a digital nuclear power plant, at the center of which is a single information space to manage the life cycle of a nuclear power plant from the idea of construction to decommissioning. All data on the progress of design, construction, and later operation is stored in relation to the 3D model and updated in real time based on information from business applications and other systems.

In order to apply the idea of a digital nuclear power plant to future projects, the Competence Center plans to develop its own IT solution based on SAP HANA - “Nuclear Power Plant Construction Management Center in the Russian Federation and Abroad.” In addition, SAP technologies will help the ASE Group of Companies manage the logistics of nuclear power plants under construction: purchase, transport and store construction materials and equipment, minimizing costs; accurately predict construction time and costs.
